About Finalysis
A brief resume of the history of Finalysis.
Finalysis was established by Patrick Shallow in Dublin in 1990, following return from Johannesburg where he worked as a bank economist with Standard Bank. There he specialized in the analysis and management of bank profitability and performance. Banking insights gained in Johannesburg were important in Finalysis's early work for corporate Irish clients, leading to eg two software products, the Overdraft Manager and the Currency Manager, later developed and patented. Over the following years, some, 250 assignments were completed for leading Irish corporates.
UK
In 2001, Finalysis and a team of senior bankers, Dr Gerry Mcardle, Tim Wilding and David Leighton established Finalysis UK Limited. That company has secured a high reputation for itself, initially in the university and third level college sectors, more recently in the larger corporate sector.
S.A.
In 2003, fully equipped with new software, proprietary treasury strategies and a full range of benchmarks, Pat Shallow returned to South Africa to establish Finalysis SA, to service the senior corporates.
Franchising
The above three operations of Finalysis have been constituted as franchises, levering local knowledge and local networks. The franchise format has been found to be especially effective in growing businesses and in delivering services, by allowing the three offices to collaborate and to benefit from their collective observations and skills.
New franchise operations are targeted for Amsterdam and for New York.
