Rocco Rossouw - Chairman
Rocco Rossouw has had a distinguished career in banking, spanning 39 years experience of corporate and international banking, also of lending, treasury and risk management.
In August 2004, he retired from NedBank International where he was Managing Director. Prior to that, he was Managing Director of Stanbic Africa. From 1996 to 1998, he was Director of Standard Bank Group's International Division and between 1993 and 1995, Senior General Manager of Corporate Banking in London.
Rocco holds an AMP from Harvard, and a B. Comm. from Cape Town University.
Louise Sherwen-Slater - Managing Director
Louise started her career in the banking sector with Citibank, Johannesburg in the risk division, Middle Office. Initial focus was on identifying, measuring and reporting the market risk exposures of the Front Office treasury activities, profit and loss calculations and reporting, and relevant regulatory reporting. Focus then moved onto the banking book and Asset and Liability Management of the bank specifically focusing on interest rate risk and liquidity risk management. From Citibank Louise joined Deloitte & Touche consulting to large corporates, banks, central banks and parastatals on a variety of topics including risk management frameworks, treasury policies and procedures, credit risk, market risk and ALM.
Louise completed her BCom (business economics and industrial psychology) at Stellenbosch University.
Ron Gevers - Operations Director
Ron holds a BSc Eng (Mech) degree and worked in the manufacturing sector for many years, initially as an engineer. Later after completing an MBA (Management) at the University of Cape Town, he gained experience in various aspects of business management.
Ron joined Finalysis SA after completing a BSc (Hons) degree in Advanced Mathematics of Finance at the University of the Witwatersrand. He has consulted to a variety of organizations in the areas of financial modeling, cash management and quantitative analysis.
